The Santhigiri Palakkad Branch Ashram is next to the hospital, which serves roughly 60 neighbouring villages. The hospital is surrounded by beautiful paddy fields, palm trees, and the Sokanashini Puzha, a Bharatapuzha tributary with healing properties. Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College was founded in 2002 with the goal of developing a team of highly qualified physicians with in-depth knowledge of Ayurvedic principles and scientific practices, extensive practical training, and a firm grasp of the fundamentals of Nava Arogya Dharma Siddhantham as intended by Guru.
