ASHTANGA was founded in 1936 and has more than eight decades of original, rich tradition of Ayurveda. ASHTANGA, established by Late Aryavaidyan K.S.Varier, belongs to the originators, the Kottakkal School of Ayurveda in Kerala. ASHTANGA made a humble beginning and has grown multi-fold over the years by adding significant value in the space of wellness, through natural and proven concept of Ayurveda. ASHTANGA today can boast of strong base and presence in Clinical Ayurveda spearheaded by the Fourth generation of the Founder.

ASHTANGA’s manufacturing capability:
ASHTANGA manufactures more than 300 formulations. Classical products (those prescribed in the age-old Ayurvedic textbooks) include various Oils, Kashayams, Arishtams, Asavams, Choornams, Gulikas, Grithams, Lehyams, Rasakriyas, etc. With more than eight decades of legacy of Traditional Medicine manufacturing and Clinical experience, ASHTANGA developed core capabilities in R&D, manufacturing and formulating a variety of innovative new products that is very relevant in clinical practice.

The road ahead:
As the awareness and usage levels of natural therapies are on the rise, ASHTANGA will be leveraging its vast expertise in the field of Ayurveda to strengthen its capabilities in bringing innovative new products and has already built a strong new product pipeline. At ASHTANGA, we believe the product quality has to be the best and follow stringent quality standards and strictly adhere to GMP guidelines.

In future, ASHTANGA’s focus will be on R&D to bring about innovative and value-added natural therapies that offer significant patient benefits.
