A new 120-bed Hospital complex of Arya Vaidya Sala began its operation at Kavathikalam Kottakkal on 3rd July 2023.

The Hospital complex at Kottakkal has two treatment blocks consisting of 120 accommodation units These blocks consist of spacious and comfortable A/c, Non-A/c and double rooms and suites, all equipped and furnished on modern lines.

The hospital complex started its operations in 2023. The hospital is situated in a serene area with trees on either side. Presently, about 30% of the patients coming for solace at this Hospital are from abroad; mostly from the West European, Middle East and North American countries.

All activities right from consultation/registration to discharge are managed by a Hospital Management Software System which facilitates quality service and personal attention to all in-patients.

The entire campus is W-Fi enabled where the patients can surf at a nominal rate and also keep in touch with friends and relatives while in hospital. This would help provide an additional channel of effective communication and a prompt source of information on global level.

This is approximately 1 Km from the main headquarters of Arya Vaidya Sala. It is situated on the Malappuram – National highway Bypass road, overlooking paddy fields.

• 120 accommodation rooms comprising of A/c, Non A/c and Suite rooms.
• Offers classical Ayurvedic treatments including Panchakarma and Kerala Special Treatments such as Dhara, Pizhichil, Navarakizhi, Sirovasthi etc.

• There is a well-equipped canteen attached to the Hospital, serving pure vegetarian dishes for the benefit of the in-patients. In addition to North Indian and South Indian dishes, Chinese dishes are also served. Special Thali meals designed especially for patients are also available.

Admission details:

As a prerequisite for admission, consultation with a doctor is mandatory. It can be done either in person in any of our Outpatient departments or through the e-consultation facility. Patients should produce id proof while coming for admission. Medical Visa is compulsory for foreigners. There is no specific time for check in but check out time is 8 am. Apart from personal utility items, the patient should bring the relevant medical records. On arrival, the patient should contact the caretaker on duty or admission desk for admission formalities.

One attendant should stay with the patient throughout the admission period. Extra charges applicable for more than two occupants in a room. Smoking, use of alcohol and non-vegetarian food is strictly prohibited in the hospital. Personal laundry service on payment is also provided.
