Quality Policy
AACV strives to emerge as the best-in-class Ayurvedic training institute in the country, representing a perfect blend of tradition and modernity.
Working Policy
AACV is a fully residential institute modeled on the ancient Indian Gurukula system of imparting knowledge. In addition to Ayurveda, students are given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with other traditional knowledge systems of India. Each student remains under the direct guidance of their respective Guru throughout the study period. Adequate facilities are provided for the students’ physical, mental, and spiritual development. The training is realistic, practice-oriented, and guided by the best faculty available.

At Ashtamgam Ayurveda Chikitsalayam & Vidyapeedham, a diverse range of specialized departments forms the backbone of its comprehensive Ayurvedic education and healthcare services. From Samhita, Sanskrit & Siddhanta providing foundational principles, to Rasashastra & Bhaishajyakalpana focusing on pharmaceutical expertise, and Agadatantra specializing in toxicology — each department contributes to a holistic curriculum.

Prasootitantram & Streerogam
The Department of Prasootitantra at Ashtamgam Ayurveda Chikitsalayam & Vidyapeedham is committed to empowering students with a comprehensive understanding of Ayurvedic perspectives on gynaecological and obstetrical conditions. The vision is to prepare students to excel in healthcare interventions and clinical practice, particularly concerning women’s health.
Through various teaching methodologies aligned with CCIM guidelines — including lecture sessions, practical training, Swadhyaya sessions for deep study of classical texts, small group discussions, clinical postings, and hospital duties — students gain strong clinical and theoretical foundations.
In addition to rigorous academic training, students participate in academic series, social activities, and extramural research projects that foster a holistic understanding of women’s health and contribute to the advancement of Ayurvedic knowledge and practice in the field of Prasootitantra.
